Meet Kaylyn Land!

Kaylyn has been with MAC for two and a half years, but has certainly experienced a variety of roles! She started in Blissfield as the Scaler Operator/Safety Coordinator, before transitioning to be the Grain Merchandiser for the location. Most recently, she moved to the greater thumb area to take the role of IP Soybean & Seed Representative. Prior to joining our MAC team, she interned with GreenStone FCS Crop Insurance Division in Wisconsin and Nutrien as a Crop Scout out of their Henderson location. She also graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agricultural Economics and a minor in Agronomy.

When it comes to working at MAC, the family atmosphere means so much to her – she knows she’s not just a number! Right now, Kaylyn is looking forward to many things in her new role. This position allows her to use her marketing knowledge from the past merchandising position, but also allows Kaylyn to get out to the farm. She’ll get to meet new customers and help solve their seed needs, while implementing her former agronomy experiences. She is excited to get to know everyone in Marlette & throughout the marketplace as she settles in.

Over Labor Day weekend this year, Kaylyn married her husband. They are in the process of officially moving back to the Otisville area, which is where they both grew up. She loves spending time outdoors, and she is pretty happy if she can be on the water in our great state. Hunting, fishing, and gardening are some of her favorite activities. Or, if she’s looking to go out to her favorite breakfast restaurant, you’ll find her at “The Original Pancake House.”

Kaylyn would tell you she thinks you’d be hard pressed to find any other industry that is quite like agriculture. She has the opportunity to work with and for the hardest working, salt of the earth people the world has to offer. We’re glad she found her fit within agriculture and with us at MAC!
