Mackenzy Blair

Meet Mackenzy Blair!

Mackenzy has three and a half years of internships with MAC and another 4 and a half years working full-time under his belt. He is currently the Grain Merchant at our Middleton location.

Throughout high school, and during his first year of college at Michigan State, Mackenzy worked on a local dairy farm. During college, he completed three internships with MAC and one with Cargill out of Wakeeney, KS. He earned his B.S. degree in Agri-Business Management and a minor in Crop and Soil Sciences.

Mackenzy’s favorite part of working for MAC is the family and team atmosphere. He’ll tell you how everyone gives a hand doing anything needed and everything to help each other out. He also absolutely loves working with our Michigan producers – building and maintaining friendships and relationships with customers is invaluable to him.

Working in agriculture truly offers the uniqueness of the seasons, and Mackenzy’s favorite time of year is the fall. Soybean and corn harvest are his favorites, while he also enjoys bow hunting that time of year.

Outside of work, Mackenzy loves spending time with his family around home and up north at their cabin in Harrison (which is also his favorite Michigan destination!) His hobbies are pretty much anything that involves being outside: hunting, fishing, playing bags, sitting around a bonfire telling stories, sporting events, boating, skiing, and wake boarding. In April this year, Mackenzy got engaged to his best friend, Tessa, while in Gatlinburg, TN. He feels beyond blessed to have her by his side for the rest of his life.

This year, Mackenzy will be participating in the Michigan Agri-Business Association leadership program. He’s looking forward to  networking and learning more of the ins and outs of Michigan agriculture to help benefit his customers.

We’re sure glad to have him on our team. If you’d like to learn more, reach out to him and maybe he’ll meet you for a chat over his favorite sandwich, a spicy Italian.
