Meet Amy Siler!

If you’ve been through Ransom Road in Breckenridge over the last two years, we’re sure you’ve seen Amy working as our scale house operator and providing customer service. Before joining our team, she’s done a lot – from work in banking to medical to daycare to education, but we’re glad she landed in agriculture these days. Amy is also a Breckenridge High School graduate and has completed some classes at Delta College.

When it comes to working for MAC, Amy most enjoys that everyone is friendly and willing to help. She also has certainly learned a lot about the different grains that pass by the scale in her specific role, such as moisture, type of damage, test weight, ec.  Amy also doesn’t hesitate to say that her favorite time of year, especially working in agriculture, is harvest time.

Amy is married with three children, all of whom are also married and “out of the house”. She has one grandson and is anxiously awaiting another grandbaby on the way due in October. Her favorite thing to do is go side-by-side riding and loves riding on the trails all over the state.

If you want to hear more, we doubt Amy would turn down a chat over her favorite BBQ to eat off a grill, chicken, if you stop by the Ransom Road scalehouse with some.
