Meet Brandon Lidster!

Brandon has been with MAC for 5 years. He started out working in Operations, while also serving as our Blissfield Safety Coordinator, before taking on the Plant Supervisor role in Blissfield. Today, he has transitioned to be our corporate Safety Director. Prior to joining our team, Brandon was an emergency room technician. He is currently working on finishing his degree in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University.

When asked his favorite part of working at MAC, Brandon said it’s how family oriented the company is, along with working/talking with all the different customers that bring their grain to us. In his role today, his position is unique because Brandon gets to see every facility and interact with every employee. Part of driving a safe work environment is building a culture of relationships and working together as a team so every individual goes home safe every single day.

Brandon’s favorite destination in Michigan is anywhere in the Upper Peninsula, which aligns to his favorite time of year being fall when he enjoys seeing the leaves change. Beyond his work at MAC, he stays busy chasing his kids around for sports or just spending time outside around the yard. He has a set of 9 year old twins (Tyler & Hope) and an almost 2 year old (Bella).

If Brandon isn’t tied up chasing his children around or talking safety at MAC, you’ll likely find him at the local fire department. We appreciate all the work Brandon puts in to keep our teams safe. If you want to get to know him better, we’d suggest offering to meet at a Mexican restaurant so he can order his favorite food.
