Identity Preserved Soybeans

Experience is our competitive advantage!

MAC works hard to build partnerships to provide food grade soybeans, including GMO, non-GMO, and Identity Preserved (IP), to customers around the globe. We work hard to be a leader in originating, processing, and supplying high quality food grade soybeans at a competitive price to both domestic and international customers.

With over 100 years of combined experience working with food grade soybeans, our experience combined with grower expertise offers a unique advantage. We have cultivated relationships with buyers through overseas trips to meet customers, as well as by hosting buyer visits to our elevators, processing facilities and producer fields. We focus on understanding the end-users needs and are continually searching for the perfect bean.

Producer Programs

Strong working relationships between MAC and Michigan farmers enables us to meet the demands of our overseas customers.  Since 2003, MAC has been partnering with farmers to provide outlined management practices that will allow producers to benefit from the considerable premiums offered for food grade soybeans. Michigan has a unique growing environment offering a great opportunity to produce a high quality crop.

At our Marlette and Breckenridge facilities, we develop grower programs for producers interested in taking advantage of the premium opportunities. We work closely with our contracted growers to assist them with meeting the expectations and demands of the international non-GMO market. You can count on MAC for a high quality product and experience.

Producers are required to only grow IP soybeans on approved farm land. All equipment must be thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to planting and harvesting. Fields must be kept weed, disease and pest free and inspected several times throughout the season. Any container or truck used for shipping IP soybeans must be checked for any damage and inspected for cleanliness prior to loading. When the soybeans arrive at the MAC facility, they are then placed in inspected and clean food grade bins.

If you are interested in growing IP soybeans, please call our Marlette or Breckenridge facilities for additional information.
